Lions Club International Foundation Imposter Reports & Reviews (1)

- Syracuse, NY, USA

I received an internet message from who I thought was my cousin, telling me the wonderful grant he received to help with medical bills, taxes, bills in general. He suggested I email the agent he spoke to to see if I qualified. I emailed this Raymond Jones, that was more or less answering my questions. AT one point I told him that this seemed too good to be true, and he elaborated and said he was a lawyer in charge of Lions Club International Foundation grants disbursement. He also said he assured my cousin he would help me.

I had written him a small assessment of the burdensome bills I am dealing with...apparently my email “moved” him, because this is one of the reasons they give the grants. Unfortunately, I gave him my name address, dob, and monthly income to which he came back with Congratulations, you have been selected. I selected to receive cash, and now there is a fee attached to each amount. Starting with $1500 to get $100,000. Thankfully, I did not accept or send any money. I should have followed my first instinct, and ignored the whole thing. I know better.
