I was contacted by a "HR representative from Lifepoint Health by email after signing up for alerts from ZipRecruiter. I was told I was shortlisted for an interview because of the information in my resume. The position, Data Entry/Customer Service. Entire process happened between Google Hangouts and Email. The person says the company's finance department will send start up check for me to download all the accounting software I need to get started. They asked me to send a copy of photo id and utility bill to prove identification. I checked on Linkedin to research the person contacting me and things looked ligit but I noticed things like typo in the business correspondence. I contacted the home office and an employee let me know this is definitely a scam.
