The client was called and asked to pay for her Life lock bill. She was directed to a fake Life Lock website. She entered her information and was told she over paid and would need to refund the money. She then was directed to login into her bank and transfer $4500. The total amount she was told to refund was $5000. She was directed to buy Amazon gift Cards for the remainder. Total loss was $5000 plus my fee to remove Key- logger and remote software to her laptop.

Email came in claiming a renewal was processed. I have never gone business with them.

I received message that I had my life lock protection renewed and that I had been billed for a sum. Then given the opportunity to call to cancel. I don’t have a Life lock account. I have been scammed before and recognize it. I’ve the trick.

An Indian sounding man answered.

To cancel he had to refer me to another division to unload softwear from my a computer. He had both our names. Not my computer. I would not do that so he said I could hang up. Take the chance it will be withdrawn.

I call bank and there are no requests for that amount.

Did mention ScamPulse.com and it’s why they did not access to account numbers. Couldn’t give me last 4 digits of the account the $299.00 was to be withdrawn from.

When I answered it he said can you hear me and mention Life Lock. I said "yes but I do not need Life Lock" and he hung up. My husband said I should not have said the word "yes" but I also said at the same time I do not need Lifelock

Hello, this morning (Sunday 1/1/2017), I received 2 phone calls very early, 5 am and 6 am mountain time. I called the number indicated after listening to my voicemails. The lady who answered the phone transferred me right away after I stated I received calls. The next lady then asked for personal information, but I decided to end the call. I do not have this alert service, nor do I have any requests to sign up for this service. I do not have any reasons for them to contact me.
