Representative called and said she was from Liberty Student loan forgiveness program. She said my initial payment would be $100. It would be 9 consecutive payments of $100. Then she said it would drop down. I don’t remember how much. But after the 9 payments my loan would be rehabilitated . It caught me unaware and so I gave them my credit card number. After 5 months of being billed I realized that I had gotten no paperwork and nothing went to my loans. I had no contacted information from them so I was unable to reach them until I stopped allowing the payment go through. When the billing date came, they called asking if they could charge my card. I said I wanted my money back. $500 The said someone would call me back but I never heard from them. They started texting me to get my payment. I don’t respond so I end up getting several texts from them, identifying themselves with different names.
