The “company “ sent me a recruiting email about a job opening. It seemed real they had someone interview me on microsoft teams , the job then said they were going to send a 2,600 check to purchase equipment for the work needed. The person sent a check of $2,600 and instructed me to deposit the check in which i then caught on to the scam and the check was never deposited
