I received a recorded message from "Emma Martin" following up on my application for loan forgiveness. I've never applied for load forgiveness. The message directed me to call 949-516-0145. I knew this was a scam but wanted to call to gather more information for an FTC report. They explained that they were affiliated were a consumer advocacy group affiliated with Liberty Mutual, and helped people submit applications for all available student loan forgiveness programs. I know these services are scams, as you can apply fee free directly with your student loan servicer for loan forgiveness. I told them this and informed them that I'd be reporting them to the FTC. I then got a call from an unlisted number. The man I had spoken with threatened me and cursed at me. BE AWARE OF STUDENT LOAN SCAMS. This is especially awful given the economic hardships people are experiencing due to covid.

Sent 481$ canadian to be told im approved of 5,000$ and never got it. My rent money now me and my kids wil have no home plus im a single mom ??
