I had a package go to a bad address. That part really happened. And I got a text from another number saying "Postal Reminder: Your courier has stopped delivering,https://s.id/1DiIe please confirm the delivery address and zip code as soon as possible." The hair is on the back of my neck came up, but I went ahead and clicked. It was a real looking USPS website. And the website www.emailveritas.com said that the URL wasn't a scam. I provided my initial information, just my address.

The next screen asked for credit card information and SSN. I entered the credit card info but hesitated on the SSN. I googled why USPS would need my SSN. That's when I found articles that the whole thing was a scam. One of the articles said I could report it here on the BBB.
