He wanted to buy my 5 ac property for cash and at no cost to me. Wanted me to sign a contract through email. I refused and said I needed a face to face meeting. He needed to contract first but late said he had checked the information on our property and could meet with the cash. I told him the date and would meet him at our bank. He ask if he could bring a cashiers check and I told him it had to be cash only as I had stated from the start. He later told that there was something wrong with our deed and his partiner say they couldn't go forward. I answered OK that is fine. I got kind of a tacky note back but was glad it was over and nothing lost.

This is Robert, with Ley Line Properties. It appears there was misunderstanding on the seller's part. He was pushing to make a deal without any title review on our part and refused to close through escrow, which is the common legitimate practice within the real estate industry. No one wants to get stuck with a property that has title issues. The owner insisted we meet in person, which I had agreed to and I was even willing to provide him actual cash bills, whereas our website mentions cash in the sense that we have capital available and there's no financing involved on our part. Again, this is a common understanding of the term "Cash", within the real estate industry. There were some deed restrictions and possible title issues reflected in a quick search, that the owner failed to mention, when asked about the title to his property. I expressed that I was glad that we caught that and explained that's why we had wanted to close a title company. The owner was actually pushy and rude, which is typical with types like this, who leave inaccurate reviews insinuating a business is a scam, when it' simply isn't.
