Scam alert! Looking for a Maltipoo puppy online. Found Leon’s Maltipoo, site looked legitimate. Testimonials seemed real. Asked what he used for payment method. Zelle or Google pay. I don’t have either, so he asked me to get gift cards and take pictures, front and back. $950 worth. I signed his contract. He wanted everything done through email, but he did text me a couple times. Mostly after I discovered the scam. Asking questions about who exactly delivers puppy to my door went unanswered. He was vague on shipping company used. I told a friend and she asked for everything I had on this Leon. His cell number is different than his phone number that is used on contract. Looking up number on contract brings me here. His cell number gives nothing. Name for Zelle payment was to be made to [email protected] name Shanekia Davidson. Looking up address on google maps, I find that the home belongs to someone named Lester.
