Scammer claimed to be customer support for Lenovo. Told me my computer wasn’t covered under warranty for malfunction of hardware. (The computer is in fact covered under warranty) he told me that I would have to pay 399.99 to have support come to my house to fix the computer. When I questioned about the cost since the computer is less than 6 months old I asked to speak with his supervisor. He got very aggressive with me I kept pushed to speak with supervisor. Then the call was disconnected. About 45 seconds later the phone rang again persisting me to pay to have tech support come to my house. I got a little more aggressive back demanding for supervisor he gave me a bogus number. Then we called another number off the computer that connected us with the right tech support. Which confirmed it was a scammer. It’s hard to even trust anyone now days!
