I received a call about a loan approval for $3,000. They "verified" some basic information about myself, that is pretty easy to ascertain. I was given a number to call with my 'loan approval number' to their finance officer to verify my identity. They told me that I needed to go buy an Ebay card from a pharmacy, load $150 dollars and then give them the barcode to ensure that I can afford the monthly payments.
