Kaleo DeLeon contacted me by phone in December of 2020 with a story that his business was at risk of bankruptcy but he had graduation lei orders that could save his business if he could get some help covering the costs of wholesale lei orders. He promised a return of 25% which we actually turned down because we weren’t looking to benefit from anyone’s hardship. We sent funds through cash app and Google pay. We loaned only what we felt we could loan comfortably if the loan was never paid back. It’s a good thing we did. We had a verbal and signed contract agreement that the loan would be repaid by January 15 2021. On January 15 the website and all phone numbers he had given us were out of service.

Kaleo was shameless in continuing to ask for more and more money and at one point he texted me a photo of someone else’s credit card and asked me if I could help him run the card through my business. An attempt at making me complicit in his crimes. I have already contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s department and am reaching out to the FBI as well.

Kaleo, those who you have scammed can walk with our heads held high, knowing we had good intentions. But you live in the shadows never truly known or loved by anyone. What a miserable **** of a life. You have earned and deserve anything unpleasant that comes your way.

I am a single mother of 2 small kids, and he just scammed me out of $7100 this past week. Now I have zero money to pay my bills. This was a totally different scam. I am filing a report tomorrow morning!

I received an e-mail from the owner of Leiorders.com asking if I (a return customer) or anyone I knew would be interested in investing in his company with a quick return (4 week turn around) for a 25% profit. After a few emails back and forth I decided to invest $5k. I asked some friends if they wanted to do the same and they sent me ScamPulse.com reviews showing it as a scam. I was horrified. I guess my own "fact-checking" skills lacked because I didn't come up with anything when I'd looked. He swore over and over that he wasn't scamming me, that it was me that I had "been away from the islands" too long because I was mistrusting. I contacted my bank the very next day and tried to have the money reversed or investigated but there was no recourse since it was sent from my checking account. I contacted him a month later and he claimed that due to Covid he would need to pay me after the holidays, even though he'd claimed originally that my money went to the supplies and sales he had set up for that first weekend! So I tried to contact him this week, only to find out his website is no longer there, the emails I sent bounced back and his phone has been disconnected. I read other complaints that were recently published about him on this site. If you need another person, please contact me [email protected]
