A male with an English accent called claiming to be from "Legal Assist" and proceeded to ask if I have been involved in a motor accident recently. I politely responded that I hadn't and then he said that it may be someone I know within the last couple of years. At this point, I started to think this was a scam so I told them that I don't know anyone and said they probably have the wrong number. Then the caller politely thanked me and hung up. I did hear others around him in the background basically asking the same things to other people they've called.
