A person going by the name, John Matthews, called my father saying his son was arrested. He claimed to be an attorney and was asking my father to pay for his release over the phone. He claimed to be with Legal Aid Society and called from 531-228-4017. We found out this wasn't true and just a scam.

The scammer called my father stating the he/ she was a lawyer from Legal Aid Society and that they had my nephew in jail in Atlanta, Ga and he was involved in a accident DWI, and arrested for reckless endangerment and was in a traffic incident where one lady was hurt they also attempt to put a guy on the phone stating he was my nephew and was in danger for my Dad to send the money via Western Union, but I investigated and confirmed it was a scam. they pretended to call from Legal Aide Society with case number. Please beware the incident assumed to be really accurate. it really shook up my 81 year old father.
