I went to Lee's Summit Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram to purchase a vehicle. During this consumer credit transaction/purchase initiated and consummated on 11/3/2021 I was asked by sales person Gregory C. Ruxlow to remit a down payment of $5,000.00. Pursuant to 12 C.F.R. 1026.18 in conjunction with 15 U.S.Code 1605, the amount financed is the sum of all charges in the dollar amount. The respective statue also affirms that the finance charge does not include cash comparables. After purchase and further investigation of my retail installment contract, I noticed that the alleged required down payment is listed and acknowledged as a cash payment. Lee's Summit Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram used tactics by telling me that the lender needed the down-payment of $5,000.00 to secure the loan, after investigation with the lender, the lender stated that they never received the down-payment. Furthermore, Lee's Summit Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram is in violation of 15 U.S.Code 1662. The retail installment contract that I received from Lee's Summit Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram after the transaction, was not signed by Lee's Summit Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram until sometime after the purchase was completed and they was confronted with issue.
