On wenesday, I recieved prejob job offer for an accounting position by a company called Lee Tenzer Consulting. I did my research and it appeared everything about the company was legitimate-professional website and a reputable presence. I responded to the job. First, I provided my ID and birth cirtificate and then filled out the job contract along with my bank deposit form. I took pictures of this information and send it over the email. As time went on, they then instructed me to download a text applications. On Monday, the company wired me approximately 3000 dollars, which I was told it would be used to purchase office equipment. Fifty dollars of the 3000 was to be for my training. Once I recieved the money in my bank account, I went to the bank to withdrawal it and then purchased bitcoins shorty after. The scam artist told me they did not recieve the bitcoins.I contacted the bitcoin operator and he infomed me it was a scam. He refunded the money back, which I put back into my account. I became aware that this whole job was a money laundering/wire fraud scam.During this time, the conartist continued to lie to me, telling me they are a legimate company and using bitcoin for business transaction is ok. The probelm was that I now had illegal proceeds in my account and I certainly did not want to keep that dirty money.

The following day, I informed my bank of the scam. The most they could do was shut down the account and transfer the money to a different account(which was certainly helpful considering the conartists had my bank information). It seemed there was nothing they could do to reverse those transfers, at least that is the way it seemed to me. I even told the bank I wanted the money sent to the federal authorities(FBI) but it was not something they could do. Out of options, I sent 2950 dollars back to the conartists and stoped all communication and wire transfers with this evil company.

I take full responsbility for helping these conartists move their dirty money. The purpose of me writing is to inform others so it does not happen to them. The stress of legal and financial consequences is not worth it. Although I have not lost any money, the fear of losing money stresses me out. Not to mention, the fear that the federal government will arrest and imprison me scares me.

My advice is don't let your self fall victim to these types of scams.
