A person named Rachel Wison reached out to me via LinkedIn messaging, asking to connect and introducing the company Lead Defender. The only thing I exchanged was my phone number. That's not an issue since we had also connected on LinkedIn at the time and my resume, which has my phone number on it, is public to anyone connected with me.

I became suspicious of Lead Defender because of three things:

1) Rachel Wilson's profile picture looked out of place.

2) Lead Defender's LinkedIn profile seemed too "pick me" and unprofessional. There were a lot of random all-caps words.

3) Lead Defender's website was too simple and the picture of their people looked highly photoshopped and out-of-place.

Thus, I started looking into this more, and tried google searching the company. Nothing relating to an "automotive" business showed up. Then I reverse imaged search the 6 people connected to Lead Defender's LinkedIn page. I easily found half of the so called Lead Defender employees photos online with different names/backstory.

Below, I will list all 6 employees, their LinkedIn pages, and include details for the photos I did find.

Her stock photo can be found on a variety of dentistry websites and one bank website.

Megan Spears: https://www.linkedin.com/in/megan-spears-3308391bb/ If you go to Sarah Pierce Photography: http://www.sarahpiercephotography.com/wp/ , this person's profile picture uses the photo under "Modern Headshots". This photo can also be found on Pintrest, which is how I found it.

Amber Sullivan: https://www.linkedin.com/in/amber-sullivan-0329841bb/

Their picture was found on IMDB under Sophie Colquhoun, https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3948902/?ref_=nmmi_mi_nm

If you look at her Official Photos, the photo used for Amber is found there.
