Layman Doxies Reports & Reviews (2)

Dog breeder out of Virginia area sold us a puppy they had listed on their web site as available puppies. They are located too far for a in person pickup so we rolled the dice and agreed to have the puppy shipped. They indicated this is normal and safe. Once we paid a down payment and the process got moving was when we realized this is a scam. The animal shipping company they use https://starwoodanimalstransport.com didn't look legit and flew up all kinds of red flags. Looking back at the sellers web site, they had some red flags there as well, but we were not looking for them. Some puppies had collars with name tags and the reviews/testimonies looked as if they where copy and pasted from some other site, not really related to selling puppies. Before they could finish the scam and call us to tell us we needed to pay more money for a special crate or something like that, we informed them that we where onto the scam and they will not reply or respond to our text messages or calls. Lesson learned, if your going to buy a puppy, find a local breeder or make the drive to see it in person.

THIS IS A SCAM ORGANIZATION. THEY CHNAGE THEIR WEBSITE EVERY NOW AND THEN. I WAS ALMOST TAKEN BY THEIR PREVIOUS WEBSITE - 'Home of Doxies". Same pictures, same adorable pups available with same names and ages.
