I received a call from "Particia Brown" stating that I needed to provide a credit card on file to secure the payment of an unpaid debt I had. Otherwise she was going to file a civil suit against me. Meanwhile she wasn't able to provide validation of the debt to me nore wasn't able to provide a accurate website for me. Absolutely a scam.

Received a call from "Patricia Brown", claiming that there will be a civil suit filed against us within the next week and they were looking to "garnish, levy and lien" as well as "contact my employer" since I had not responded to a notification sent over "45 days ago". She threatened that the "law office" would petition to repo our car (funny enough it was a model of car we have literally never had). They threw out a "case number" (though they had just stated that they were going to take me to court - not that they had already filed) and to call her back as she could "help" if we were ready to "act like adults". "Patricia" became very confrontational when we stated we wanted them to stop calling us as we have been contacted by them before - just under different DBA's. Funny enough this company is never able to provide a validation notice of this "debt" (as required by law, 5 days after inital contact). I strongly suggest reading on the FTC site as debt collectors posing as lawyers has become extremely common.
