I received a call from this phone number and they advised that they were a law office but would not give me the name of the company. I asked him his name and information but he would not give any information. The caller advised me that they were going to put a lien on my home and had some personal information like my address and my previous name. I just hung up on the man as he would not give me any information. I have received a call from this same number twice.

The scammer called supposedly from a "law office" and left a short voicemail but it did not include my name. It said "this is the last day to respond to me or my attorney".

Received communication from this man who said he had a client who died several years ago with the last name of my deceased husband and he wanted to know if I wanted to be his partner in claiming the funds. He said not to tell anyone.

They found me at my place of work and called, left a message that they were a law firm and wanting to get a hold of me to send me court documents. I was scared so I had called them back from the number that was given. They had the last 4 of my social security number and my name continued to inform me of a very high debt that I owe stemming from a credit card I had back in June of 2008. The year is 2017. I have or do not ever rememeber owning a credit card. I was threatened by a law suit and court hearings and lawyer costs and fees if I did not respond to the debt. They had informed me they had sent me a letter in January this year.. I was to respond in 30 days. I did not. I then asked what address they had, it was the wrong address. An address I have not been at in years.

She then told me if I decline this debt it will go to whats called a "Discovery Process" and court will be involved and she had mentioned a wage garnishment.

She then contacted the original debt collector and tried to come to an agreed payment amount. A lump sum and then two monthly payments with only the use of my debit card.

The name was incorrect at the time of getting this card, the time was incorrect, the dates.

And the address they tried.

They had informed me that I had two years to dispute and I did not. Mind you, this debt was in 2008 and we are in 2017.
