I called the name and number I received as a referral. They texted me to use their other number, 443-XXX-XXXX. They said I was approved almost immediately and requested and requested $50 fee through Cash App to angelXXXX. They then requested half of the deposit but couldn't tell me which property the deposit was for (I had asked about two properties). When they told me I needed to apply right then by going to https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e. When done and submitted was then asked other questions by text but with unprofessional language. It became clear this was a scam when they wanted the 1/2 deposit ($550) down to issue a receipt, but wouldn't answer their phone or call me to discuss; everything was through text. They did not use proper english, began swearing, and then became more persistent about sending the money.
