I was scammed while trying to sell a handbag on Facebook marketplace. A user contacted me if the bag is available and i replied yes the scammer asked me for my phone number and i gave it. Then the scammer told me that he/she needs to verify if i am real seller and said that they would send me a code on my number and i give them that. Without thinking about it like a fool if gave the code to that scammer.After that i realized that it was a google voice code that they used me to setup a new number. After googling i found that this is a known big scam and i followed the steps provided on the google community forum.
