I am a victim of a fake invoice for a vehicle, on Facebook marketplace. The scammer used an account believed to be "Amazon". I was told that payments to purchase the vehicle should be with Amazon gift cards, $500 per card, totalling in the amount of $2500. I thought I was purchasing a white 2010 Honda Pilot EX-L cash only, that was to be delivered by Dependable Auto Shippers on 3/15/18 by 4pm. I sent another email to follow-up on the delivery time and did not get a response this time. Prior to receiving the money they communicated with me. When the delivery didn't come I called Amazon customer service to track down the invoice, they transferred my call to the fraud department, because they do not offer that type of service.

So to warn others about purchasing online, always check out first before you buy it.
