Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Here is more about the job and how urgently I wanted it to be done. I'm relocating with my family from Massachusetts to Chelsea, AL. I just got the House in Chelsea, AL and I would like it to be ready before my arrival next month, that's the main reason I contacted you about the painting and I want the job to be done as soon as possible.
The house is a 3 beds 2 baths Living Area: 1234 Square Feet, Lot Area: 0.23 Acres located at 2302 Forest Lakes Ln Sterrett, AL 35147. The dimensions are as follows:
Master Bedroom Dimensions: 20 x 10
Bedroom 2 Dimensions: 15 x 11
Bedroom 3 Dimensions: 15 x 15
Bathroom 1 Dimensions: 10 x 16
Bathroom 2 Dimensions: 6 x 5
You will be painting just the walls and ceilings of the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. My wife does not feel comfortable with the present color of the rooms so we want to change the colors, the walls are in good condition as they were recently painted, just want a change of color for the bedrooms and bathrooms. You can visit the house if you care to but i don't think it's necessary because I am not in Chelsea, AL now and the person in charge of the paint delivery is the one who will give you access when he arrives in Chelsea, AL . I believe you can easily make an estimate with the sizes I already gave you. My measurements are accurate but I know the price may change after getting into the house so I will pay 50% upfront and balance upon completion just to make sure it works for both of us in case there are changes in labor price after starting the job, the changes will be fixed in the balance payment.
I want you to know that I have already placed an Order for the Paints you are to use for the Painting which will be delivered to the house as soon as the payment has been made. Take all your tools with you when you are going to start the painting because All Paints will be ready for you at the address. Let me know your estimate for the labor so I can Proceed with the payment and I would like to know if you accept a check as a means of payment.
