L'Ancee Perfector Company Reports & Reviews (1)

- Lanham, MD, USA

I came across an email message titled “Claim Your Fifty Dollar CVS Reward” on October 10, 2020. The email message was impersonating CVS Pharmacy. I clicked on the email and it directed me to a so-called beauty website called lanceeperfector.com com or lanceeprefector.org from the so-called “L’Ancee Perfector Company” based in Pinellas Park, Florida. The website can only be accessed through a mobile web browser. The website was one of those low-trial product offers that the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has warned about in recent years. The website said I would receive a facial moisturizer for $7.95. I inserted my name and financial information. Then, it mentioned a facial serum cream that cost $7.85. While the products claimed to be free at no cost, the total was $15.80 for shipping and handling. I immediately contact the telephone number that appeared on the website. The customer service operator was refusing multiple times to cancel my order and refund my money. I told the operator that I want to cancel my order and the operator aggressively said we won’t cancel it as we want you to try the product for 14 or 30 days before returning it. I raised my voice and told them to cancel my order and to refund me as what they were doing was deceptive. The so-called phony company said to me on the telephone that they canceled my order; however, I found out after the fact that the email was a scam message and that the scammer took my money and never refund me. No email receipt nor refund notification was sent to me from the company. I then saw two transactional charges from my financial institution under the merchant names of “ACBHealthProducts.com” and “DACIAOMEGA171COM,” respectively. Each of the merchant names also had a toll-free telephone number and the state abbreviation for New York State. I immediately locked my debit card and contact my financial institution. My financial institution was successfully able to put a stop-gap on these specific financial transactions to prevent recurring payments. After the transactions were processed, I was successfully able to file a financial billing claim with my bank and the financial institution was able to credit me the funds I lost from this scam company. People, I asked you to be very careful when reading emails. Please be able to identify what a scam email message looks like and what a legitimate message look like so that you do not get scammed or robbed of your money. This scam company called L’Ancee Perfector Company already has an “F” rating on the Better Business Bureau website. Stay away from this company as the scammer has appeared under different business names.
