This person Brian Martinez General Manager from LADWP called to say we have not paid our bill and the power would be shut off in 30 mins if we do not pay. They left a message with someone in my office. We are currently up to date so we knew this was a scam. When I called the number a gentleman, with a foreign accent said I had an outstanding bill. I asked where is your business located? He then said "who are you?" and that he wouldn't give his location to someone he didn't know. My response was, if this is a legit place then there should be no reason to hide your location, he then hung up on me. His tone right off the bat was defensive therefore being another indicator he was not a legit customer service representative. Most people that work in customer service genuinely try to help or at least have knowledge of the company they work for. Beware of imposter representatives from LADWP calling to shut off your power!
