"Labor Poster Compliance" is a company portraying themselves as a government entity to new business owners. I recently filed for a LLC and they somehow know my new business name and address that I used when filing for my LLC. (Note: I specifically used the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions website when filling, wdfi.org, so I am not sure how they got my information). They claim that if you do post the appropriate labor law poster in your business you can fined by the federal government up to $7,000. The attempt to instill a sense of urgency citing federal codes and requiring your timely response to avoid penalties. If you research the address they list, you will find that it is a small strip mall and points to the UPS Store.
