I received a letter on March 29th from a company calling themselves LLCS. The letter said my newly formed LLC was required to post a current compliant labor law poster (which I already have), and that if I were to disregard the notice, I would be fined in excess of $7,000. The letter included an ordering form for the poster for $94, but no telephone number or website for the company. The document looks like a legit letter initially, and then when you read it more closely, you realize it's a scam. Let other business owners know so they don't fall for this. Thankfully, I didn't, and I don't want anyone else to, either.
