I received a "cold call" offer of employment from "Barbara Hall, Director of HR" stating that L & A Trading wanted to hire me for a high-paying job working from home. Since this was To Good To Be True", I was doubtful. I tried several times to speak with her at the number I was given, but never did. The Web Site indicates that they are rated as A+ by the BBB, but the actual ScamPulse.com site shows no contact or rating. The apparent scam is to have me purchase consumer electronics using my personal credit card that they had claimed to have uploaded funding to. I was to buy locally and ship items within 24 to 48 hours, most likely (per the information provided) to Europe or Africa. My assumption is that once the goods were bought and shipped, I would learn that my card had not been funded by L & A, and I would be responsible for the debt.
