Received a text message about Whole Foods doing research then they requested name, address, phone number and email. Then I received the attached letter sent via 2 day delivery service with a cashiers check for $1,840.00. The letter stated to deposit check and then purchase three $500 Best Buy gift cards from one of the eight stores list. You are supposed to evaluate the overall experience of the store purchase. After the purchase you are supposed to take a picture of the front and back of the card. You are supposed to send this info via text and email to them. Then you are supposed to keep $340 for the survey task but if you complete the task within 48 hours then you earn a bonus of $150. I did try to do a corporate search on this company. I know there are companies that have secret shoppers but I was concerned that this is a scam. I also checked the financial institution the cashiers check is drawn on and it is a legitimate business. I will keep all documents in case you would like to review them. Finally, I checked your website and nothing came up for this company.
