I recently received an email informing me that I had been selected for a job opportunity, and the sender claimed to have obtained my information from CALJobs. Initially, I didn't question the legitimacy of the email because I mistakenly believed that CALJobs had referred them to me. Consequently, I proceeded with the interview process and eventually received a job offer. As part of the onboarding process, I was asked to sign an employment letter, provide a completed W4 form, authorize direct deposit, and fill in additional information through JotForms. This included uploading a picture of my Driver's License and personal details.

Upon reflection, I became suspicious of the situation as it seemed too easy to secure the job without undergoing a background check. To gather more information, I conducted research on the company, 724 Imports LLC, which is registered with a residential address at 18616 Arline Ave., Artesia, CA 90701. It appears that Kevin Spencer, who claimed to be associated with the company, is actually an artist or celebrity. Our communication primarily took place via Skype, with his Skype ID being "live:.cid.289d83099b757601."

Realizing that this is likely a scam, I decided to continue interacting with them in order to ascertain the extent of their fraudulent activities. Its Day 3 of my training as he explained.
