This company contacted me via Indeed.com to hire as a Regional Supply Chain Manager for their company. Three days after a phone interview with a lady named Caroline J, I was emailed back and informed that I had the job. With this job I would receive a iPhone for work related information, a corporate credit card for business purchased and a corporate fuel card. She stated that the next week I would begin training with a HR Training Manager. The next week I had email contact with a person identifying themselves as Timothy M. He would send me work assignments to "better learn the business and terminology used". I worked on the assignments and turned them in before the due date and time. After completing about 4 assignments, I received another email from another person named Brandon S. He was to be my immediate supervisor. Brandon also sent me an email which was to be a "Practical Assignment" where I would use my own personal credit card (since the corporate card had not been received as of yet) to make a large purchase for a business. I then informed Brandon that I do not have a credit card. Brandon emailed back and stated there would not be a problem, I would just skip past the assignment. The next day I received another email from Timothy M for a "Theoretical Assignment" over cost analysis. I completed the assignment and emailed the information back. On 4/4/2022, I received an official offer letter stating my employment would begin on 4/20/2022. I signed the offer letter and returned it back within the hour. Since the, I have had no contact with anyone. I had tried calling the phone number listed on their website, it just went to a generic voice mail. I sent multiple emails and still no response. On 4/20/2022, there was still no response from Caroline, Timothy or Brandon. After researching the addresses and phone number listed on the website, they are addresses for other types of business. Luckily, the only information they have is my name, address, email address, phone number and signature. No bank account or social security information was given. This was a very well thought up scam, with website and all. All correspondence was sent with what appeared to be legitimate company letterhead. Now I know to do much more precise review on a company before ANY information is given out. I am just thankful that I did not have a credit card, who knows how much money or how many other accounts they would have opened in my name. Bad thing is that I turned down a couple very nice job offers because I thought this job was real.
