I almost clicked the website! its a SCAM y'all! How to totally report this clown?

Received an email today from PayPal or so it seemed, requesting authorization for payment for an invoice for a flashlight. The shipping address was to this [censored] in Texas. I suspected it was phishing but to be sure I called Paypay where I had to wait half an hour. Are there no consequences for this filth that prey on other people?

I got similar email in my spam in old email account that PayPal doesn’t have so I knew it was scam. I did check my PayPal and no charges and I looked up the address as well
I have reported it to PayPal

Got the same email as Erica Lashay. Went to cancel and got the same warning screen. While here at work I searched the address...
I know I'm sick and tired of getting 'limited every time I use my PayPal or someone sends me money. So.etimes more than once a day. This is the very reason why I didn't want to use PayPal. Its hard to do business when you have to reset or password everytime or even check for payment.

I feel the same way. It's almost like a full-time job checking your account constantly and changing your password. I get these emails 2-3 times a week. I even got a new account in November 2020. I am seriously thinking of closing the account but they are so handy to use instead of your bank card. It's Frustrating !

I received the same email from PayPal this morning. A purchase from Konomer Mahmedo for Tactical Flashlights. I don't know who this person is and when I clicked on the link to cancel the order, my phone warned it was phishing site. The address: 2322 CR 2021, Glen Rose TX 76043, is one that a person I was speaking to tried to get me to mail something to. This is all a SCAM! Like many of you did, I checked my mobile PayPal account and found no such charge pending or otherwise. I will be reporting this to PayPal.

“So I check my email every morning when I get off work and I get an email about a purchase on my PayPal account. I clicked on the link and As you can see the address isn’t even a pay pal address and that name definitely isn’t mine. I checked my bank account, and no money missing. So apparently it’s a scam to get your log in information. Has anyone gotten this email as well?” I posted this on my Facebook. I knew it was a scam. I just ordered on PayPal and I went and clicked the link from Sunday, and guess what the url address said? PayPal.com, not aplktascgvolezazzyboodopboop.com lol donkey of the day goes to the scammer. I only feel bad that some will lose their log in information and most likely money. The more we report this clown, the sooner they can find out who he is and send him to jail for scamming innocent people.

Thanks to this website. I have also received the same type of email. I clicked on login and it asked all my personal information. I said wait, I looked at the email address and it looked fake. I tried to search shipping address it was correct. I login to my Paypal account using my other laptop. I found no transaction in my account with that amount or the product. I urge do not click any link from the email you receive verifying using browser. Also do not provide any personal information.

Be safe an cautions out there lots of scam going around.

Same email with inaccurate grammar and purchases listed. The date for the transaction is listed as tomorrow. Thanks for this site - I checked my PayPal account from my desktop and then found this site separately.

I just got the exact same email. I didn't click on any links in the message because it's coming from a fake site fishing to get your login info for paypal. Paypal will never message you with messages such as "limited account" etc. I went to my Paypal account from my app. and none of that was showing as pending activity. It's a fishing scam. Be aware... don't open any links in that email!

Someone using or trying to use my PayPal to make a purchase. I found others have had the same experience with a similar named person but same address. Shows the name Konomer Mahmedo and shipping address of 2322 CR 2021 Glen Rose, TX 76043. A receipt # 1417-4550-6626-2154 and merchant detail as London Meichi Co, LTD which I found to be a fake site as well.

Someone did the same to me. I have reported both the scam and the identity theft to the government website.

This is a travesty. To think that at the most vulnerable point in someone's life, people like this will still try and make a false profit off of you. Honestly.
