They put a malware virus on my computer (through an opening in my computer security) with a screen when I turned on my computer that claimed my IP address was blocked. The screen named my internet provider (Comcast), that I had Windows 10 and the type of computer (HP Edge). The phone number given was 1-855-876-6939. When I called (in panic not knowing that I could pull my battery...) Peter Maria answered and stated in a very calm voice that he could help me and that Global PC Pros was a Microsoft Partner and gave me lots of information that would make one think this was true. They took my VISA number to get ready to service my computer remotely with a charge of $299. The offered to also tune up my husband's computer which is on our network for $149 and put on Webroot Security software. I got off the phone and then called Microsoft to find out that Global PC Pro's was not a Microsoft Partner and that this was a scam. I then had to have Microsoft remove the malware put on my computer by Global PC Pro's and install their Security Software. This cost me $174.00 and I also had to cancel my VISA. It was a terrible way to start the day for my small business!!!
