I received a phone call (left a message) that stated his name as Marshall Brown an investigator who received my name and SSN via fax. He stated that he would be visiting my residence or place of employment to sign some papers. He told me to call 888-765-2863 and reference DOC #122455. I called that phone number who answered the phone as Kline Financial Group where I began to speak with a girl named Amy Baker. She asked me to verify the last 4 of my SSN and when I refused and told her that this sounded like a scam she immediately hung up.

I am not aware of any collection accounts nor do I have any passed due bills that would be going to a 'Financial Group'. I Googled the phone number and found there were several others who have received a phone call like mine within the last week or so and are all stating as I am - this could be a scam. I wanted to bring this to your attention.
