We were looking for a new pet and we found a seller online that we asked for more information on. We were then contacted buy the “seller” who gave us the information we were looking for and provided us with the Zelle information needed for payment. He said his name was Augustin Lambo ([email protected]). We could not get that link to work so he gave us his son’s information Inoussa Diallo ([email protected]). The dog was going to be shipped to us through the air using Delta or American Airlines. Once we made the payment he said he would be going to the airport the next morning to arrange for delivery. He emailed us early the next day stating he was heading to the airport and that we would be hearing from the shippers soon after. We then received an email from the “shippers” (Klenways Shippers) that stated that the kennel that was provided was not an approved transportation kennel so we would need to pay an extra fee for the approved kennel that would be refunded once we signed and took ownership of the dog. We made that payment to (Leslie [censored] [censored][email protected]) thinking all was still good. Soon after we paid for the kennel, we received another email stating that we would now need to pay an insurance fee for the dog. At this point I started to realize that this may not be on the up and up. I emailed the “seller” stating that I was not happy and wanted to cancel the transaction. He replied that he would look into it and never heard from him again.
