Saw a Facebook ad for Maine C o o n kittens, emailed back and forth to set up transport from Illinois. Paid through Venmo $700. The transport service then asked for $1000 pet insurance(100% refundable) then asked for another $1000 for a permit which they also said was refundable. Did not pay or get refunded money and have no kitten.

My stupidity I guess. I found a website with Maine c o o n kittens. Emailed back and forth with the “seller” sent them half of the money the were asking with the agreement of the remainder being paid once I received the kitten. They wanted more money because of “shipping delays and a special pet crate”. I told them to forget the transaction and refund the money I had sent. It’s been crickets since then.
