We were looking for a Maine [censored] kitten and located one on the above website. We filled out the contact information as requested, and were subsequently approved by them as a suitable home for the kitten. As directed, we set up a Zelle account and were able to transfer $350 to the breeder, Omar Jetta. Zelle could only transfer $350 because of technical problems. We informed the breeder and they said that we could pay the $150 balance after kitten arrived. We were then contacted by Global Pet Transport by email confirming that they had the kitten and would ship the next morning. Soon after, Arneisha Antwine again by email told us that we needed to rent a $950 crate for special transport due to weather and COVID-19 conditions. We then called Arneisha direct (918-410-9850) and he explained that we could go to Wal-Mart and purchase a money gram in that amount and we would be given cash from the airport agent after we removed the kitten from the crate. We told him we were suspicious of fraud, hung up and contacted an Asian-sounding woman with the Kitten Breeder. She tried to assure us that it was legitimate but when we said no, she agreed to refund our money. We have been unable to contact either of these individuals since. Left messages. Phone #'s are Oklahoma area codes but computer IP address is California and Edmonton, Canada.
