Scammer tried calling my brother in law in another state indicating he was trying to reach me about possible legal action from Kitsap County the current county residence I just bought a house in. He then called my wife and left a voicemail with number and some reference number. I called and indicated my name. He asked how he could help? I said "I don't know you are calling me" and I gave him the reference number. He then said Kitsap County will be proceeding with legal action and I will be served papers. I asked if that was it? He said yes. I hung up. I did not provide them any info they did not already have or could have pulled from public records.
