Type of a scam Credit Cards
They said to hang on and then played music for almost 3 minutes and then I hung up.
To me this was a red flag as they should have answered by then.
I looked them up and didn't find a website.
I called the number they called from ( 1 800 768 5852 ) and it was for HBC Capital One Credit Cards ( Hudson Bay Company )
Reverse Lookup said that 768 was a U.S. number but no further information was available.
I went to HBC's website and their Credit Card phone no. was ( 1 800 723 3500 ).
Their menu asked for my Credit Card no. from my Capital One Credit Card with another company I did not give it and didn't hear where I could talk to a representative so I hung up.
I phoned my Master Card Capital One Credit Card Company and they said my balance from them was zero which was correct.
So I hung up.
I notified ScamPulse.com Vancouver and they suggested I post this.
