We are in the market to get a Boston Terrier Puppy and came across this website. At first, it seemed legit. We picked out a pet and paid the initial $750. Yesterday, we received a tracking number to an illegitimate courier service: TransContinental Logistic Shippers and that's when it all started. At first, they asked for $1800 to be Zelle'd in two $900 transactions. Then they said the puppy is on its way but the tracking information never updated. At that point, my husband and I figured out it was a scam and called my bank to begin a claims process. This morning, they said the puppy was stuck at the final check point but they needed an additional $2050 for "a bigger crate and a pressurizing vaccine." At that point, I contacted an attorney I work for and she confirmed it was a scam. I immediately called my bank again and updated them about what was going on to continue the claim. I then wrote to both the "breeder" and the "courier service" and told them I will not send them another dollar and that, if the puppy exists, they will deliver it to me by 5PM and, if not, they can find someone else to scam. It was strange since both the breeder and the courier service messaged me at the same times but never at different times. I may or may not get back the $2550 that I lost but I want to give EVERYONE a heads up NOT to fall for the same tricks I fell for. It was a very legitimate looking website. Be careful! Use AKC certified breeders if you want to get a puppy!
