I was looking for a puppy on several websites in my area and DavidKing's Newfoundland popped up with puppies available. I emailed the website to get information and exchanged messages over several days, including pictures of the puppy and the breeder. I received a contract with a bill of sale. The name on the contract was Garrett Moore 1315 Campbell St. Glendale California 91207 phone listing 323-364-2047 I signed the contract and sent my payment of $800 by Google Pay to [email protected] on April 27, 2021. The next day, the seller said they had not received the payment and I spent 2 days trying to fix the problem by canceling the transaction so I could resend but I did not send money to the new address given me reseversevtech@gmail .com under the name Kent Valley. I could not cancel as the money had already been taken from my bank account. I called Mr. Moore and was assured I would get a refund issued in 48 hours so that I could resend if he had still not been able to accept the funds. 48 hours later I called Google Pay again and found that the money had gone through (May 1st)and he would be shipping the dog as planned and would get an email with flight arrangements. Instead I got an email from Globalair-express.com asking me for a refundable pet insurance needed before the puppy could fly at a cost of $1490 which I refused to pay (may4, 2021). I called Mr. Moore and emailed the original address saying that I would not pay more as no other fees had been mentioned in the contract but there was no answer at the number only a chance to leave a voice message which I did. I received a text from Mr. Moore asking what was wrong and I informed him I wanted my money back since no dog was coming. I did not hear from him by phone or email since that time.
