Hi. On Oct 24 I purchased on line ONE Bottle of Keto diet pills. The price was in Sterling (I live in the UK) and it was 23.00. Twenty three pounds stlg. 2 minutes after order I received an invoice from them for Dollars 196 which equated to around 150 pounds sterling. I immediately e.mailed to cancel and the reason why but they didn't immediately respond so I contacted my bank to stop payment. They couldn't do this but informed me that it seemed there were a number of people had made complaints about this company before. They told me to get back to them in 15 days if I hadn't received the goods. In the meantime KETOTOPDIET.COM had got back to me and told me they couldn't stop order as it was in shipping and wouldn't refund my money. They gave me an order number but wouldn't address the fact that they had stolen money from me. Since then I have had over 40 communications with them and they have, as they say, give me a goodwill gesture of twenty five percent back as a 'discount'. I continued bombarding them with requests for my money back to no avail. They say it is company policy and they cannot do this. I have disputed everything they write as it is absurd nonsense. I have reported them to several places in the USA but have never had a complaint. I was honest and told them I am 70 yrs old and a full time carer for my disabled husband in order that they might look on this as a humane situation. No. They ignore this and just tell me they sympathise with the situation. I demanded their address and they gave me an address of 11551 E 45th Avenue, Unit C, Denver, Colarada 80239. I googled this and found it belonged to a company called quick box who I believe are a legitimate business who just pick/pack/and send out for shipping. They just ignore this fact. I haven't telephoned the 'free phone' number they give as I cannot afford to inur any more costs. When they gave me a tracking number, again they had lied, as the order was NOT being shipped but in the offices of either UPS/DHL in Denver, waiting to be shipped 8 days later. They could have stopped this order if they so wished. They said they would give me 120 days to return goods if I wasn't satisfied. I told them I would not be accepting delivery of goods and would be telling delivery person to return to sender. The day that this package arrived I wasn't here but got a card in my door from the Royal Mail (The UK Postal service) saying they had attempted to deliver this package, which had no return address nor identification marks on it, and asked that I arrange for further delivery. The card stated that before I could accept this package I would have to pay a further £22.75 sterling. This was for the cost of customs handling and VAT. So there is another scam as they don't inform the buyer that these extra charges would be down to them. Then they tell you that when you get your package, to look inside for a form that gives precise instructions as to how to return the goods if not satisfied. From other people online I have learned that to return these items would then cost a further approximate price of £50 which would include customs charges. So not only did they steal in excess of £120 sterling from me, it would have cost me a further £22.75 and £50.00 sterling to return these goods to them. I have no doubt that these people had no intention of refunding any monies to anyone because they are adept at scamming and their business if fine tuned. I know that since I ordered this 'one bottle' of pills they have changed their web site and it shows the goods in dollars now. It was in sterling the day I bought them. I have tried every avenue open to me to try and locate these people. The one thing that the Royal Mail told me when I told them I wouldn't be accepting it was that it would be returned that it came via Germany and I believe this to be true as when I went to UPS site with the tracking number from them, there was a mention of DHL Germany or an associated company. I have written to DHL AND UPS regarding this scam but never had a reply from them. My bank won't refund me the money as they said that I didn't accept the package and they don't refund in those circumstances even though they are sympathetic to what happened to me. If there is anyone out there that can help me. I would be so very grateful. Thank you for reading this and I hope and pray that anything thinking of purchasing any from these people will stop and instead go to a health food store. No transparency at all.
