I had the same experience. I was careful what information I gave but went through the interview process. It was long and it worked as I started to believe. But, after I was "hired", I was given the information to fill out including tax documents by next working day. The clincher that had me looking is the ... "we will send you a check so you can purchase the hardware and software from the people we want you to do so. There is also $50 for your internet included." They wanted me to do direct deposit, which I said I wanted to receive checks. They did ask me my bank but no other information. I guess the hope is to get it on the next business day. Dang, it wasn't too good to be true, but it was nice enough.
