Social media page on Instagram was promoting apartment rentals in New York City by posting realistic listings and successful client stories but never provided contact information such as name, phone number, real estate license, directly. The number listed on the Instagram page is 323-621-5925. The account requested money for an application fee of $200 and to secure the deposit to provide 1 month rent. Apartments appear to be real when google searching the rental listings but transactions are fraudulent as the company reported that fees are refundable until a lease was signed. I never signed a lease or saw the apartment. They claimed my application was approved as they report a 12-24 hour turn around time for approval. Based on emails and screenshots I have, they stated via email and DM that all transactions are refundable. Upon request of refund due to no longer being interested in listed apartment, company blocked my account on Instagram and have not responded to emails.

The scammer appears to goes by the name Josefa Vazquez v Azque and listed number provided on profile is 323-621-5925. They only responded to DMs and texts, no other contact.
