I applied to a Personal Assistant position listed on Facebook Jobs. A woman named Heather Fink messaged me and told me to text this number (618-800-0620) which belonged to her Manager, Keith Henry. When I messaged Keith he told me that my qualifications met his needs and would need me to start immediately. Part of my job would be to pay people on his behalf which I was not at all comfortable with. He told me to contact him via a Gmail email address and he would get me set up. I googled Keith Henry and saw a business man whos contact information did not match that of the person I was texting. I addressed that by saying I would only like to communicate via his company/professional email he said absolutely not and I was to email the Gmail account. He also said he would need my personal bank information to transfer me the money I would be using to pay people on his behalf. I absolutely would never give my information but Im sure somone who may really need a job would become a victim to this scam. I am also sure that the real Keith Henry has no idea someone is using his name to scam people.
