This is the Microsoft scam. I didn't know about it before. A pop up box came up on my screen and informed me that I needed to contact Microsoft at 877.416.1358. Then I spoke to a man in an Indian Accent who asked me to click on start, type in some keys and click on run so that he had access to my computer. He then asked for payment and told me I could pay via check or credit card and that I would have to pay right away so that they could remove the virus. I asked him how I would know that he worked for Microsoft and he told me that he worked for Keen IT Hub that was affiliated with Microsoft and pulled up a fake site.
