Applied for a job on Indeed, was contacted via email with a skype number to call them, did an online interview. They then said that I was hired, at $50 per hour as a graphic designer, remote, full time.

They said they wanted to send me equipment to set up a home office for me, I gave them my address. The next day I received a UPS package with a check inside for $4,830. I sent them an email saying i had received the check. They then sent an offer letter via email, and wanted a copy of my driver's license (which I scanned and sent). I deposited the check, they wanted a copy of the deposit receipt, I sent it to them with all my account information blacked out. They then started to send me emails on how I needed to send money orders in increments that they specified, I asked for the address to send them to and they said they needed a photo of the money orders. When I persisted, they wouldn't give me the mailing info. I told them I found everything suspicious and wanted to send the check back to them, who should I mail it to? I also told them I was reporting the entire event with ScamPulse.com and Scam Tracker. They then sent me a mailing address, I told them I was going to go to my bank in person and would proceed on their recommendation of what to do. At this point, I'm waiting to see what the back says.
