7/23/23 Saw an advertisement for Kate Spade All Day large leather tote bag in pink for $29.99 on Facebook (I have ordered from Kate Spade several times, so it is common to see their advertisements on Facebook). It was advertised as one day only sale. Purchased it on a site which I thought was Kate Spade of New York (identical to their site). The check out was identical as well. 7/23/23 to 8/4/23 Started receiving tracking information that the item was in Jamaica, NY, it kept being shipped to several Jamaica NY facilities during that time period. Contacted the seller and received a response which I could tell was not from Kate Spade. Contacted Kate Spade of New York and found out they have only two sites, Kate Spade of New York and Surprise Kate Spade. Customer service suggested I contact my bank. My bank is disputing the charge, and suggested I cancel my card and come into the Bank for a new card. On 8/5/23 I revived a text it was at my local post office, another text that it was being sent to another facility, 8/6/23 another text it was back at my local post office 8/7/23 it was and out for delivery. received package, return address Jane, 371 Little Falls Rd, Ste 6, Cedar Grove, NJ . 07009, just opened it, it’s not leather as advertised, possible plastic, no Kate spade logo inside (usually is with their totes). I will contact the bank to update them that the item did arrive but not as it was advertised.
