Email sent, stated I "will be charged 199.00 for "protection plan" on my computer since browsing the internet leaves me vulnerable to monitoring by your broadband provider, government and becomes susceptible to many different virus threats"

It states the payment will show up as Kaspersky Plan and will be on my account in 48 hours

they gave me a reference number of MS1209-2367-2935 and a phone number of 802-566-0366

The email starts with Hi

My name is not on it.

I have never asked for this service

i think this is a scam. when I googled the company, it is Russian owned
